Americana Singer/Songwriter
“How about that Gary Hensley? That was Awesome!”
-Jim Lauderdale
“Energy plus, with powerful lyrics and engaging stories Hensley’s passion pours through in every song he sings.”
–The Loafer
“Like Dylan, The Boss and John Mellencamp, this genre-bending singer/songwriter isn’t afraid to tackle heavy subjects. On his album Wright’s Corner, Hensley examines race relations, labor unions, and missing limbs with honesty, yet he is able to lighten the load with jamming blues/rock arrangements that border somewhere between Americana and pop. A Tennessee transplant by way of Indiana, Gary Hensley has earned his place among respected musicians as a dynamic storyteller and visionary.”
-Bristol Rhythm and Roots Reunion
